How to report a suspected phishing attempt

1: Always Remember to "Click the Trout if in Doubt!"

Even if you are not 100% sure if the email is malicious or a valid phishing attempt, please consider clicking the phishing reporter button. This will send the suspect email to the IT Department, who will notify you if the email has been reported in error

2: Locate the Cofense Phishing Reporter Button

Once you have opened the suspicious email, look for the Cofense Phishing Reporter button in your Outlook toolbar. The button typically appears as a small icon representing a fish with a question mark.

3: Click on the Cofense Phishing Reporter Button

Click on the Cofense Phishing Reporter button to initiate the reporting process. A pop-up window or dialog box will appear, confirming that the email has been reported.
