Removing an email address from Outlook autocomplete
Deleting autocomplete entries from Outlook can help you maintain a clean and accurate list of email addresses for autofill suggestions. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
1. Open Outlook: Launch Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
2. Access the "File" Tab: Click on the "File" tab in the top-left corner of the Outlook window. This will take you to the Outlook Options menu.

3. Navigate to Outlook Options: In the left sidebar, select "Options."

4. Access the Advanced Options: In the Outlook Options window, click on "Mail" on the left-hand side.

5. Scroll Down to the Send Messages Section: Scroll down until you find the "Send messages" section.

6. Click on "Empty Auto-Complete List": Under the "Send messages" section, you will see a button that says "Empty Auto-Complete List." Click on this button.

7. Confirm Deletion: A confirmation dialog will appear, asking if you are sure you want to delete all the cached Auto-Complete data. Click "Yes" to confirm.
8. Close and Restart Outlook: Close the Outlook Options window, and then exit and restart Microsoft Outlook.
The autocomplete entries have now been deleted, and Outlook will start building a new list as you send and receive emails.
Please note that this process removes all the autocomplete entries, so be cautious when using it.
If you only want to remove specific entries, you will need to do so individually as you encounter them in the Auto-Complete dropdown while composing an email:
1. Create a New Email: Start composing a new email in Outlook.
2. Begin Typing the Email Address: Begin typing the email address for which you want to delete the autocomplete entry.

3. Select the Entry to Delete: As you type, Outlook will display matching autocomplete suggestions. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the entry you want to delete, and then press the "Delete" key to remove it.

4. Finish and Close the Email: You don't need to send the email; you can simply discard it.
By following these steps, you can either clear all autocomplete entries or selectively delete specific entries from your Outlook Auto-Complete list.
