Saving files in a Team SharePoint Site
All collaborate work and document sharing is centralized within a Teams SharePoint site. This is different from the department Hub site, as this Team Site is exclusively for internal members of that department.
In order to avoid a messy collaboration center, IT has provided a standard file categorization system. Please attempt to sort your documents appropriately into the established folders. If additional folders are truly needed, please place a number (09-Example) in front of the folder name.
Note: New channels also create folders upon creation; renaming these channels in not possible, and are excluded from the folder naming convention.
1. Access your files: Team files are located within the Teams application, and your SharePoint site. Click "Open in SharePoint" to view the site itself.

2. Sort your files: Attempt to sort your files into the provided folders. These folders are located under "Documents." Note: If you are under "General," you will need to click the "Documents" button.

3. Easy access: To ensure easy access to the files, either "Favorite" the site or pin it to Windows Explorer Quick Access
