Create a folder shortcut within SharePoint & Teams
Working with many files and folders can sometimes become disorganized and messy. A possible solution is to link all the necessary files and folders within a single directory. Follow the instructions below on how to create folder shortcuts within SharePoint and Teams folders.
1. Copy the link of the folder/file you want a shortcut to point to.


2. Navigate to the folder or location you want to create the shortcut in, and click "New" then "Link."

3. During link creation, paste or select the file you want to create a shortcut for.

4. Paste the link in the field, then name your new shortcut.

5. Click "Create" and your new shortcut will be created!
