Unlock Service Accounts through the Help Desk
The IT department has added to the Helpdesk's functionality. Please simply send "unlock" in the subject or body of the ticket, and the service account associated with your department will be unlocked in less than 1 minute. Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open a ticket
Step 2: Submit ticket with the word "unlock" somewhere in the body or title.
Step 3: Receive an email letting you know the account in question is unlocked. (The account will be unlocked before you receive the email)
Step 4: Verify the account is unlocked.
This entire process, should take less than 1 minute maximum.
